To resize a shape or other object, on the Drawing Tools Format tab, in the Size group, enter the measurements you want into the Height and Width boxes.
Click on the Slide Size drop-down menu and select either the Standard(4:3) or Widescreen(16:9) aspect ratios and select the Ensure Fit option (it is easier to move items around than to also have to resize them especially when converting to a larger slide size).
Select the Design tab of the toolbar ribbon. Select Slide Size. near the far right end of the toolbar. Select Standard (4:3 aspect ratio) or Widescreen (16:9) or Custom Slide Size.
To resize it, click and drag one of the little squares that appear in the corners. Hold down the Shift key before you start dragging the corner to keep the image proportionate. Note that depending on the file type, your image may become distorted if you make it bigger.
