The Kindle scribe can handle PDFs in two ways: through USB side loading or using Send to Kindle. Side loading PDFs limits annotation capabilities, as you can't draw on them. Side loaded PDFs include settings for fonts, top bar, layout, margins, contrast, and highlight. However, annotating with the pen is limited to finger-like actions. Send to Kindle PDFs also lack drawing capabilities, treating pen input as capacitive. Highlights and notes can be added, but drawing is not supported.
