To show edits in a document, turn on Track Changes. Go to Review, Track Changes, and Word captures any edits. To turn it off, go to Track Changes. Word stops making new edits, keeping any made in the document. You can see markups by selecting Review and Display for Review. Choose Simple Markup to see changes with a red line, All Markup for different colors, No Markup to hide markup, Original to see original form, and Show Markup for different types of revisions like Comments, Insertions, Deletions, Formatting, Balloons, and Specific People.
