Set a form field as required or not required to fill Double-click a selected form field to open the Properties window. In the General tab, To set the field as read only, select Read Only. To set the field as mandatory to fill, select Required. To set the field as not mandatory, deselect Required. Click Close.
How to Edit a Fillable PDF (that you made) Open your fillable PDF document in PDF Pro. Press the Forms tab. Press Modify Form Layout button to highlight all form fields for editing, or click any button in the Form Types section to add a new form field. Perform your edits to your PDF.
Making a field required in docHub Open the necessary PDF form, choose Forms Signatures Prepare Form. Select the field that needs to be required, right click on it and choose Set as a Required Field: Save changes.
To do so, open your PDF file in docHub, then click on the Edit PDF tool in the toolbar on the right. When youre in form editing mode, you can make several types of changes to the PDF file. You can edit text, alter a field name, or add new text and fillable fields. You can also choose different fonts.
Resolution Open the PDF document in docHub. Select the Prepare Form tool. Select the form field(s) to unlock. Open the form field properties window. Uncheck Locked checkbox in bottom-left corner. Uncheck Read Only checkbox. Re-check Locked checkbox and select Close
Create form fields Open the document in Acrobat and select Edit Prepare a form Create form to convert your document to a PDF form. Choose a form field from the left pane. On the page, select where you want to add the field to create a field with the default size. Place the field at your desired location.
How to Lock Fillable PDF Fields Open your PDF. Add your fillable fields (logo, contact information and disclosure) Save the document and keep it open. On the right-hand menu, click the purple shield icon Protect; if you do not see this icon, select More Tools, find Protect and click Add.
Modify form field properties Open the Properties dialog box using one of the following methods: To edit a single form field, double-click it or right-click it and choose Properties. To edit multiple form fields, select the fields that you want to edit, right-click one of the selected fields, and choose Properties.
