Justin Conway, a Microsoft Excel expert, demonstrates how to change column names in Excel. To change existing column headers, simply double-click on them and type in the new name. If you want to change the column labels (ABCDE, F, etc.) to numbers, go to preferences, click on general, select "use R1C1 reference style," and click OK. This changes the column names to numbers. You can easily switch back to the original format. Remember that this method doesn't change the actual cell contents but only the column headers.
