How do you add math symbols in Apple Pages?

You can use the Character Viewer to add special characters and symbols to text, such as maths symbols, Latin characters and pictographs. Click in the text where you want to place the character, then choose Edit Emoji Symbols (or press Control-Command-Space bar). The Character Viewer appears where you clicked.

How do you add a function in Pages?

Add a predefined function Click the cell where you want the result of the function to appear, then enter the equal sign (=). Enter the function name you want in the search field at the top of the Functions Browser, or browse the available functions, then double-click the name of the function you want.

How do I change formulas in Pages?

Change an existing formula in Pages for iCloud Double-click the results cell with the formula you want to edit. The formula editor opens displaying the functions. Do any of the following: Press Return or click the Checkmark button in the formula editor when youre done.
