Edit the distribution list for lists and Smart Lists in Contacts In the Contacts app on your Mac, choose Edit Edit Distribution List. Select a list or Smart List. Click the rightmost column heading, then choose Email, Phone, or Address.
On your Mac, do any of the following: Select an item: Click the item. Select multiple items: Press and hold the Command key, then click the items (they dont need to be next to each other). Select multiple items that are adjacent: Click the first item, then press the Shift key and click the last item.
In the Contacts app on your Mac, click the Add button near the bottom of the window, then choose New list. If it isnt already visible, the sidebar appears. The area on the right shows No Cards until you add contacts to the list. Enter a name for the list, then add contacts to the list.
In the Contacts app on your Mac, choose Contacts Settings, then click General. Click the Sort By pop-up menu to sort contacts in alphabetical order by first or last name.
In the Contacts app on your Mac, select one or more contacts. Press the Delete key. If you select contacts who belong to a list, click Delete in the message that appears.
Update contact information in Contacts on Mac In the Contacts app on your Mac, select a contact, then click Edit at the bottom of the window (or use the Touch Bar ). To change contact information, click the corresponding field. To change the picture, click it. When youre ready, click Done.
In the Contacts app on your Mac, choose Edit Edit Distribution List. Select a list or Smart List. If you use multiple accounts in Contacts, the list is organized by account. Click the rightmost column heading, then choose Email, Phone, or Address.
Apple has renamed groups to lists. You can also edit your groups with the Contacts Sync app. To edit your contacts and groups, open the app and navigate to the Contacts tab. To add a contact to a group, select Groups, then select the desired group, and then press the + button.
