Hi everyone, Kevin here. Today I want to show you how you can create your very own electronic signature that you could use to insert into documents. Lets say for instance, you have to sign a document. Well, today you could print out that document, then you could sign it, then you could scan it in again, and then you could send it off. But thats a lot of work. It wastes paper and you need to have a printer. I dont even have a printer. Today Im going to show you how you could create an electronic signature, two different ways. One of them is using your phone where you sign your signature on the phone, and then well bring that onto our PC, so itll be digital all the way. The second technique, were going to sign our name, take a high quality photo of it, and then well bring that into the PC. So, Ill show you those two different ways. Now, before we jumped into it, just a quick note on an electronic signature versus whats called a digital signature. An el

Text-based PDFs are created when a document is saved directly as a PDF from a word processor like Microsoft Word, or similar applications. Text-based PDFs are editable PDFs (unless they have been password protected).
Open a file in Acrobat. Click on the Edit PDF tool in the right pane. Use Acrobat editing tools: Add new text, edit text, or update fonts using selections from the Format list.
The PDF document is encrypted with password protection. You may be using a PDF reader that only allows you to preview files, not edit them. The PDF was created using an outdated or ineffective program that makes editing the file difficult. The editing software you are using is too complicated.
To make changes to a document, in the upper-right corner, select Edit Document Edit. If someone else created the document, they might not allow editing. You can go to File Save as, save it with another name, and edit the new document. Or you can ask the document owner to enable editing.
To edit a PDF, open it in Word. This works best with PDFs that are mostly text. PDFs of book chapters or something that looks like a manuscript from a copier wont be formatted well in Word.
Log in to your Google account and open Google Drive. Upload the PDF file that you would like to edit. Right-click on the document and select Open With and then Google Docs. Your PDF will now be converted to a DOCX file so you can make changes if necessary.
No. However, you can add annotations (comments) to a digitally signed document. To do so, you need a PDF editor.
See how to sign a PDF Open the PDF document and select Sign from the top tools bar. Create your signature and initials if not already done. From the Sign panel, select your signature, move over to the field where you want to add it, and then click to place the signature. The form fields are detected automatically.
