Change a photos date and time In the Photos app on your Mac, select the photos you want to change. Command-click to select more than one photo. Choose Image Adjust Date and Time.
Be sure your time is correct so time stamps on emails, messages, and files are correct. On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Settings, click General in the sidebar, then click Date Time on the right. Turn off Set time and date automatically, click Set, enter the date and time, then click Set.
On your Mac Make sure that Time zone and system customization is turned on. Open Date Time settings and make sure that the option to set time and date automatically, as well as the option to set time zone automatically, are turned on. Restart your Mac.
To change these settings in the Mail app on your Mac, choose Mail Settings, then click Composing. Choose to format your messages using plain text or rich text (HTML). If a recipients email app cant view rich text, a plain version of the message is displayed.
To change the date format on a Mac, click the Apple icon Click System Preferences Click Language Region Click Advanced Click Dates Customize your format.
To change the modified date: In Terminal, type: touch -t YYYMMDDhhmm. Replace YYYMMDDhhmm with the date and time you want to change to. Press the spacebar. Drag the file whose date you want to change onto the spacebar. Press Return.
In the Mail app on your Mac, choose View Use Column Layout (a checkmark indicates the layout is in use). Do any of the following: Change which columns are visible: Control-click a column header, then choose an attribute, such as Muted. The Conversation, Status, and Subject columns are always shown.
Use Date Time settings to set or change the date and time on your Mac. When the date and time are correct, time stamps on emails, messages, and files are accurate.
