Usually, this error is because cellular data has not been toggled on for Chrome.
On your computer, open Chrome. Go to a site. Click Site settings. Change a permission setting.
Your Chromebook needs to have eSIM capabilities or a physical slot for a SIM card. To set up an eSIM, your Chromebook must run on version 92 or later. Check that your Chromebooks software is up to date.

On your Chromebook, at the bottom right, select the time. Select your Wi-Fi network or No network . Under Mobile data, select your phone. When you see Connected under your phones name, your phone is sharing its data connection with your Chromebook.
Free up storage space Delete files you dont need from your Chromebook. Remember that you can move files to Google Drive if you want more space. Clear your browsing data and download history. Uninstall apps youre not using. Remove any extra user accounts from your Chromebook.
