But you can do a lot more with PDF files in Preview than just looking at them. This first one may seem obvious to a lot of you but some people dont know this. You can click and fill in PDF forms right in Preview. Now the PDF has to be built in a certain way to allow this. A lot of PDFs are just text on a white background. But some PDFs actually have special elements and fields and you can see here when I move my cursor over these fields they change color. Sometimes you dont see these colors here but you could click in there and you can type to fill out the field. I think one of the reasons people dont know this is because a l

Rotate a PDF In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF you want to change. Do one of the following: Rotate one page: Click. (or use the Touch Bar) to rotate the page to the left. Continue clicking to keep rotating. To rotate a page to the right, press and hold the Option key and click.
Move pages in a PDF: Choose View Thumbnails or View Contact Sheet, then drag the pages to their new location. Move a page from one PDF to another: In each PDF, choose View Thumbnails or View Contact Sheet, then drag thumbnail images from one PDF to the other.
In the menu bar, choose Tools. Choose Rotate Left or Rotate Right. Click again to turn the page by 90 degrees until it arrives in the desired position.
How do you change the format of a picture on a Mac? Use the Finder to open your PDF in Acrobat, then select File. From the drop-down menu, select Export to Image. Choose the image format you want to export your PDF as, such as JPG. Click Export. Select Save As and rename your newly converted file.
