Go to the Insert tab. Click Quickparts and select Field from the dropdown. Under the Field names list, select If. Under Field Codes, enter your conditional statement.
Add conditional formatting On the form template, select the control that you want to add conditional formatting to, and then click Conditional Formatting on the Format menu. In the Conditional Formatting dialog box, click Add. In the If this condition is true boxes, enter the condition.
conditional format based on text? Select the area where you want to highlight the cells. Click the Conditional Formatting button in the Home tab, and select New Rule in the pop-up menu. Bring up the New Formatting Rule window, and the Select Rule Type is Use a formula to determine which cells to set.
In Microsoft Word, click the Insert tab. Click Quick Parts in the Text group, then click Field. Select If in the Field names box on the left side panel. The Field codes box will automatically input IF into the field.
