The Google Workspace individual plan introduces a new e-signature feature that is still in beta. To access it, click on "Insert e-signature fields," then "Signature" or "Date" to create blue boxes. You can send the document for signature with optional messaging to one recipient. Once sent, the file is locked to prevent changes until signed. Upon receiving an email notification, reload the document to view the signed version.
