Change a conditional formatting rule Click in the range that contains the conditional formatting rule that you want to change. On the Home tab, click Conditional Formatting. Click Manage Rules. Select the rule, and then click Edit Rule. Make the changes that you want, click OK, and then click OK again.
On your Android phone or tablet, open a spreadsheet in the Google Sheets app. Tap Format. Conditional formatting. At the top, choose an option: Selected range: Shows the rules that intersect with the selected range. All: Shows all rules on the sheet. To return to your spreadsheet, tap Done .
In the sidebar, youll see a list of all conditional formatting rules that apply to the selected cells or the entire sheet. To remove a rule, hover over it, and you will see a trash can icon appear on the right side of the rule. Click this icon to delete the rule.
Use advanced conditional formatting On your computer, open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Select the cells you want to format. Click Format. Conditional formatting. Under the Format cells if drop-down menu, click Custom formula is. Click Value or formula and add the formula and rules. Click Done.
2 ways to copy conditional formatting from one Google Sheet to another First, select the cell with the conditional formatting you wish to copy. Then, click on the Paint format tool in the toolbar. Finally, go to the other sheet and select the cells where you want to apply the formatting.
If you want to use conditional formatting, you have to use Sheets, not Docs.
