Gary from MacMost.com explains that editing a PDF on a Mac using Preview is not directly possible. Instead, you can highlight, annotate, export, and rearrange pages in the PDF. However, to make content changes, you need to edit the source document and then recreate the PDF. This process falls under the realm of Markup.
