Navigate to Setup | Customize | Opportunity | Page Layouts. Click Edit on the layout you want to edit. Double-click the Products related list and set your fields and order. Click Save on both the pop-up window and the Page Layout edit window.
From Setup, open Object Manager. Enter Opportunity , then click Opportunity. Click Page Layouts and then select the layout that your document checklist items users see.
From the management settings for the fields object, go to Fields. Click Edit next to the fields name. Modify the field attributes. The attributes differ depending on the field type.
The Amount field is essential as it is used as the roll-up field on the Forecast object to calculate Revenue. On the Opportunity I know the amount is calculated based off the total price of all the products. Unless there are no Products in which case the Amount field can be edited.
You cannot directly edit the amount unless the Opportunity has no Products. To change the amount for an Opportunity that contains Products, edit the Sales Price or Quantity of the related Products.
Presently, only the Opportunity owner can manage the account by removing or adding users to the team. Therefore, anyone that is not the opportunity owner cannot edit the team.
Add or change an Opportunity stage in Lightning Experience Navigate to Setup. Click Object Manager | Opportunity | Fields Relationships. Click the Stage field name. Click New to add a new stage under Opportunity Stage Picklist Values. For new Opportunity stage values, select the Sales Process to be associated.
For Opportunities with Products, the amount is the sum of the related Products. You cannot directly edit the amount unless the Opportunity has no Products. To change the amount for an Opportunity that contains Products, edit the Sales Price or Quantity of the related Products.
