If you cant edit a file, a few things could be wrong: The file owner didnt give you permission to view the file. Youre signed in to a different Google Account. Someone else with edit access removed your permission to edit.
If you have a Microsoft Office online account, you can edit your files using these Android apps: Microsoft Word. Microsoft Excel. Microsoft PowerPoint.
On your computer, open a document in Google Docs. To select a word, double-click it or use your cursor to select the text you want to change. Start editing. To undo or redo an action, at the top, click Undo.
Annotate PDFs on Android On your Android device, open the Google Drive app. To enter preview mode, open the PDF that youd like to annotate. In the bottom right-hand corner, tap the annotate button . A toolbar opens with multiple annotating tools. You can save the original PDF or make a new copy with a new name.
To edit a document: On your computer, open a document in Google Docs. To select a word, double-click it or use your cursor to select the text you want to change. Start editing.
Important: Find the file or folder in Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, or Google Slides. Open or select the file or folder. Click Share or Share . Find the person you want to stop sharing with. To the right of their name, click the Down arrow. Remove access. Click Save.
