On the right side of the Info screen, click Properties and select Advanced Properties from the drop-down list. A dialog box displays with the file name (without the file extension) on the title bar, showing you information about your document. To access the properties you can change, click the Summary tab.
To make changes to a document, in the upper-right corner, select Edit Document Edit.
Rename a Quick Part On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Quick Parts, and then click Building Blocks Organizer. Click the name of the building block that you want to rename, and then click Edit Properties.

Find the file whose properties you want to change, and then select it. On the Home tab, tap or click Properties. In the Properties dialog box, tap or click the Details tab. Under Value, tap or click next to the property that you want to change, enter a word or phrase, and then tap or click OK.
You can choose from a list of suggested names or define your own. Click the File tab. Click Info. Click Properties at the top of the page, and then select Advanced Properties. Notes: Click the Custom tab. In the Name box, type a name for the custom property, or select a name from the list. Click OK.
View Advanced Properties From the Info screen, click the Properties button. Select Advanced Properties. The Document Properties dialog box opens to the Summary tab, where there are a few more properties to fill out. Edit the document properties. Click OK.
Press Ctrl + A. Press F9. If your document has tables with fields or formulas, you might need to select each table separately and press F9. Tip: To make sure that you dont forget to update your table of contents before you print the document, set Word to update fields automatically before printing.
