All values in a column, which belong to a particular domain, are of same data type. A column header is called an attribute.
On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Header Footer. Excel displays the worksheet in Page Layout view. To add or edit a header or footer, click the left, center, or right header or footer text box at the top or the bottom of the worksheet page (under Header, or above Footer). Type the new header or footer text.
Unfortunately, Excel does not allow the header names to be changed. The same applies to row names in Excel. You cannot change the row names, or numbering, but you can add your desired row names in column A for the corresponding rows. Instead, if you want to have meaningful column header names, you can do the following.
Step-1: Open the Tables menu from Databases and expand it. Step-2: Choose the specific table and expand it. Step-3: Choose the columns and expand them. Step-4: Now, right-click on the column name you want to modify and choose the Rename option.
A column header is the row at the top of the table that identifies each column within the table. Most often, your tables need column headers to uniquely label each column. A row header is the column at the left of the table that identifies each row within the table.
Select a column, and then select Transform Rename. You can also double-click the column header. Enter the new name.
In the context of a function, a GROUP BY clause, an ORDER BY clause, an expression, or a search condition, a column name refers to values of a column in some target table or view in a DELETE or UPDATE statement or table-reference in a FROM clause.
Click the letter of the column you want to change and then the Formulas or General on your computer. Select Define Name under the Defined Names group in the Ribbon to open the New Name window. Enter your new column name in the text box.
Stubs: The row headers are called Stubs.
Select a column, and then select Transform Rename. You can also double-click the column header. Enter the new name.
