And the eight sealants that Im gonna be demoing for you today, and talking about are Mod Podge, Matte Medium, Gloss Medium and Varnish, Kamar Varnish, Weldbond Glue, Gloss Medium, Isolated Coat, and Soft Gel Gloss. Use a paintbrush and clear drying glue to apply at least two coats to your papers. Be sure to also apply glue to the edges of your papers. Allow the glue to dry completely before including them in resin. This may be a couple of hours but can take 24 hours if youre living somewhere humid.
Applying a layer of varnish or wax to make the paper water-resistant to display your paintings on paper without a frame. If you paper is unframed, you can choose to apply a layer of protection from water and humidity. I sometimes use varnish and sometimes use wax for that purpose.
Apply Mod Podge to the back of the paper or to the project surface and press the paper firmly to the surface, let dry completely. (Do NOT apply a top coat until the paper has dried completely to the surface.) Let it set for about 5 minutes, then recheck your project to see if there are any more bubbles.

You can use any kind of paper with resin, provided it has been sealed first. You can use photographs, cardboard, stickers, tissue paper, and even book pages in your resin creations. Using resin over your paper art will give the piece additional depth whilst providing a beautiful finish.
