Merge and re-sign Open the PDF with digital signatures in docHub. Go to Tools, select Certificates and click More. Use docHub or Preview to merge the PDFs without the signatures. Open the resulting document in docHub and follow the steps mentioned earlier to have users sign the documents again.
See how to sign a PDF Open the PDF document and select Sign from the top tools bar. Create your signature and initials if not already done. From the Sign panel, select your signature, move over to the field where you want to add it, and then click to place the signature. The form fields are detected automatically.
Note: Certified PDFs cannot be combined with other PDFs. Additionally, combining PDFs that have been digitally signed, but not certified, will remove the signatures from the combined PDF.
You can also select an existing file from the Documents tab on the right of the screen. Open the Content Fieldstab. Drag the Signature field to the relevant place in the PDF. Double-click on your new field and follow the on-screen prompts to sign the PDF with your digital signature.
Can I edit a PDF that I signed? If youre the only one signer, you can remove the signature and then work on the document or edit the source document. To remove your signature, right-click the signature and then choose Clear Signature.
Technically you cannot merge the digitally signed documents and preserve the validity of the signatures. Any time you merge the documents with digital signatures, the signatures will be either removed or invalidated.
Download a PDF editor app. Once you find the PDF editing app of your choice, simply log into the service, open the file you want to sign using the app, select Fill Sign, draw your signature or upload a saved signature, and tap Done. The document will now have your official signature and is ready to share.
