In this example and I will show you how to merge cells and rotate text. Notice in column A here, beginning with cell A22 all the way down to cell A45 these are categories. So what I want do is I want to take all of these wraps cells and merge them into one cell with the word wraps Im going to do the same thing with soups sides and salads. So, selecting cell A22 to A31, I can simply click the Merge Center button. The word wrap shows up at the very bottom but thats because of the alignment of that particular text. So if I align it to the middle now it shows up like so. Im going to do the same thing merge and center change the alignment for soups sides and salads. Notice Im not grabbing the Total row. Im also going to rotate the text. I can rotate the text here with the Orientation button. So thats how we can merge cells and rotate text.
