In this video, you will learn how to disable PDF printing. First, open Windows Explorer and locate the document you want to protect. Right-click on the PDF and choose "Make Secure PDF" in the PDF writer. In the printing and viewing tab, ensure that the allowed printing checkbox is deselected. Click "Publish" to confirm the protection status, which will appear in a pop-up window. The protected document will now have a .pdc extension and can only be opened with the Lock Lizard Secure PDF Viewer. Printing is disabled, and the print icon will be greyed out in the Secure Viewer. This effectively disables printing for the protected PDF file.
