This video tutorial demonstrates how to disable PDF printing by using a PDF writer. Simply locate the document in Windows Explorer, right-click on it, and select "make secure PDF." In the PDF writer, go to the printing and viewing tab, deselect the allowed printing checkbox, and click "publish." The protection status window will confirm success. The protected document now has a .pdc extension and can only be opened with Lock Lizard Secure PDF viewer. Printing is disabled in this protected PDF file, as demonstrated by the greyed-out print icon in the Secure Viewer.
