heres a really important map im working on right now notice how ive got these hatched fills kind of intersecting with each other and i want to echo that in my title so if you look closely you can see that its got this kind of scratched kind of effect ill show you how to do that here is a regular bit of text that ive inserted into my layout in arcgis pro lets take a look at how we can add this kind of slashy lininess to it ill open the properties of this text and ill look at the text symbol and theres this amazing thing called text fill symbol here its a drop list i can pick a couple default ones i can look at the gallery of existing ones or i can dig into this its just another polygon so if i format this polygon i can take a look at how its being rendered theres no outline or at least its an empty outline and i have a solid white fill lets go into the structure ill get rid of that outline and im going to duplicate this solid white fill and then for the lower one im
