How to extract pages from a PDF Open the Organize Pages tool. Click the Select a File button. Open a PDF you want to extract pages from. Select Extract in the top menu. Highlight pages you want to extract. Click Extract to extract the selected pages. Save your new PDF.
Open a file from the desktop or the Finder Double-click a PDF or image file to open it in the Preview app. Select one or more files, then choose File Open With Preview.
Using Mac Preview to reorder PDF pages. In the Preview app, open the PDF you would like to change. Select View. Choose Thumbnails or View. Alternatively, you can also select Contact Sheet. Drag the pages to your new desired location for them. Your pages are now reordered and ready to go.
Does Mac come with a native PDF editor? Yes. Every macOS has a built-in tool for filling and signing PDFs. Which tool your Mac defaults to depends on the version of macOS you are using.
Highlight the page thumbnail or thumbnails you want to delete from your PDF. Click the dustbin icon in the top toolbar to delete the selected PDF pages. Click Save and rename your new PDF file.
Press Control (on Windows) or Command (on Mac) and click on the pages you want to extract. Right-click on the selected pages. Choose Extract Pages In the new dialog box, check Extract Pages As Separate Files if you want each page as a separate PDF.
Go to the thumbnail of the page you want to delete. Select it with your mouse cursor. Using your Mac, you can press Delete on the keyboard. Or you can go to Edit - Delete or Edit - Cut on your menu, as you can see below.
How to delete pages from a PDF on a Mac. Open your PDF in the Preview app. Select the page you want to delete. If you dont see the sidebar to select a page, choose View Thumbnails. Press Delete or choose Edit from the menu bar and then Delete.
