So a hidden feature in Numbers for iOS, thats for the iPad and iPhone, is the ability to create forms. Forms are just another way of looking at data and it can make it a lot easier to enter data in. Lets take a look at a simple example. Im going to create a new spreadsheet in the Numbers app. Just a blank spreadsheet. Lets create something thats really, really simple. So, in this case, just something to keep track of gardening. Say you have a garden and you want to keep track of how many different types of vegetables you pick everyday. So you could do this in a spreadsheet and have it on your iPhone or your iPad for easy use. But a spreadsheet may be a little difficult to deal with. So heres how you can do it. Lets create a spreadsheet here and well put in the first column will be the date. Then how many carrots are harvested. How many tomatoes, and how many cucumbers. Thats what you have. Lets shrink that table. We can take away the heading there and well shrink the number

You can create a form for almost any table in your spreadsheet, or you can start with a blank form and Numbers automatically creates a table for you. Note: Forms are hidden in spreadsheets that are opened in Numbers on Mac or on iCloud.com.
iCloud: Open Numbers, and if a spreadsheet is already open, tap Spreadsheets at the top of the screen to see all your spreadsheets. Tap Browse at the bottom of the screen to see the Locations list, then tap where you want to the template (iCloud Drive or On My iPad). Tap the template, then tap Add.
Note: By default, your template will be saved in the home folder in Library/Application Support/iWork/Numbers/Templates/My Templates pane of the Template Chooser. To save the template in a different location than the default, create a new folder in the Templates folder.
How to Make an Order Form Open Launchpad. Click on the numbers icon. Click on the type of document you want to create by choosing from the list youll see on the left. Click on the template that matches whatever it is that you need (since youre making an order form, look for order templates).
iWork. Numbers. I right-click on that in Finder and choose Show Package Contents from the contextual menu. Within the package I go to Data Library Application Support User Templates, and there they are.
You can open a file from the Finder or from the Numbers app: From the Finder, Control-click the file, then choose Open With Numbers. If Numbers is the only spreadsheet app on your Mac, you can just double-click the file. From the Numbers for Mac app, choose File Open, select the file, then click Open.
With the spreadsheet open, choose File Save as Template (from the File menu at the top of your screen). Click an option: Add to Template Chooser: Type a name for the template, then click Choose. Save: Type a name for the template, then choose where you want to save it.
Choose Numbers Preferences (from the Numbers menu at the top of your computer screen). In the General pane, select Use template, then click Change Template to select a template.
