Overview. Many scholarly publications are enhanced with images, ranging from reproductions of fine art to graphs showing the results of scientific research. Including images in books and articles can complement the text, visually demonstrate the authors analysis, and engage the reader.
Insert a Picture Click in your document where you want to insert your picture. Click the Insert tab. Click Pictures button. Navigate to the picture you want to insert and select it. Click Insert button.
How to use PlotDigitizer to extract data from Graphs? Step 1: Find the graph in an image format. Step 2: Upload the image to PlotDigitizer. Step 3: Adjusting the image. Step 4: Calibrating the axes. Step 5: Extracting the data points from the plot. Step 6: Exporting the extracted data points.

All images in your essay should come with clear captions (e.g. Figure 1 plus a title or description). Without these, your reader may not know how images relate to the surrounding text. Have you mentioned the image in the text? Make sure to directly reference the image in the text of your essay.
How do I organize the entire photo collection? Pull out loose prints and put them in envelopes together in their own container. Put Albums, scrapbooks, pocket pages, magnetic pages in a different box. Separate any movie reels, tapes, and other memorabilia from the prints.
For both Windows and macOS, select the photos you want to print, navigate to the Print menu, and choose the Contact Sheet option to put multiple images on one page. For Windows users, use the Wallet option or change the paper size to adjust the number of photos on one page.
You should provide an in-text citation for any photographs, images, tables, diagrams, graphs, figures or illustrations that you reproduce in your work. The citation would normally be given after the title of the figure, table, diagram, etc. Example: Figure 1, A four pointed star (Jones, 2015, p.
