Shawn Jordison demonstrates how to resize a PDF file from 8.5 by 11 to 11 by 17. By selecting File, Print and changing the printer to docHub PDF, he accesses the properties button and changes the paper size to postscript, custom page size. After typing in the dimensions and selecting OK, the new file is saved as 11 by 17. This method allows you to resize all pages in your PDF document.

How to make a PDF file size smaller. Visit Acrobat online services and navigate to the Compress page by clicking Compress in the menu. Click or tap on the Select a file button. Choose the file from your device or from a cloud service like Google Drive. Your file will upload and compress.
First, PDFs can be oversized because one or more fonts have been embedded and subset inside that specific PDF file. In fact, adding a single font to a PDF document can sometimes increase the file size substantially. Second, images can also be a culprit.
Open the PDF file with Acrobat DC, and then go to Tools Print production. Select Preflight from the right pane, and then select Single fixups. Step 2. Next, expand the Pages heading and locate and select the Scale pages to the specified size. Then click on the Edit button.
Go to Tools Print Production Prefilght FixUps (blue wrench icon) Pages. Go to the little fly-out menu and duplicate the prefilght, give it a new name. Click on Edit, to change the desired final trim size and the method used to get to this size (scale, white border, etc.) Click on Fix to apply the change.
You can magnify or reduce a PDF by an exact percentage. Choose the hamburger menu (Windows) or the File menu (macOS) Print. From the Page Sizing Handling menu, select Custom Scale. Enter the percentage you want to magnify or reduce the PDF. Select Print.
You can do this with Acrobat Pro. Go to Tools Print Production Prefilght FixUps (blue wrench icon) Pages. Go to the little fly-out menu and duplicate the prefilght, give it a new name. Click on Edit, to change the desired final trim size and the method used to get to this size (scale, white border, etc.)
Simply use the file box at the top of the page to select the PDF files whose page size you want to change or drag them into the file box. Now change the settings if necessary. Then start the creation of the new PDFs. Finally, save the result to your computer.
