Combine files into a PDF on Mac On your Mac, click the Finder icon in the Dock to open a Finder window. Select the files you want to combine into a PDF. Alternatively, you can select the files on your desktop. Control-click the selected files, then choose Quick Actions Create PDF.
Simply visit the Acrobat online website and upload the files you want to merge. Reorder the files however you like and then click Merge files. After that, just download the merged PDF.
Save a document as a PDF on Mac On your Mac, open the document you want to save as a PDF. Choose File Print. Click the PDF button or click the down arrow to open the PDF pop-up menu, then choose Save as PDF. Choose a name and location for the PDF file. To protect your document with a password, click Security Options.
Preview is Macs native app for opening and viewing PDFs.
In the Preview app on your Mac, open the file, then choose File Export. Click the Format pop-up menu, then choose a file type. If you dont see the file type you want, press and hold the Option key and click the Format pop-up menu to see specialized or older formats.
Open the file in Microsoft Word. Convert Word document to PDF: On Windows, click the Acrobat tab, then click Create PDF. On Mac, click the Create and Share docHub PDF icon, then skip to step 4.
Tip: You can also select the files in the Finder and use the Create PDF button in the Preview pane of a Finder window.
