one of my viewers had a great question they were creating a fillable form in Microsoft Word and they had a question on whether to insert a page break or not if they needed to insert a page break so Im going to show you when it would be appropriate to insert a page break and when you dont need to insert a page break in your fillable form be sure to check out the playlist theres several videos that Ive done and answered a lot of questions that my viewers have had related to filling in creating fillable forms in Microsoft Word so this is an example of a form that we created and this would be a static page form and the form fields on this page are just form fields that the user will not type a whole lot of text into so we know that this is a pretty static page form and so theres not a whole lot of chance that a users going to fill in a lot of information thats going to expand those form fields down onto another page so in this example it would be appropriate if we wanted to create

Protect a document and mark the parts that can be changed. On the Review tab, in the Protect group, click Restrict Editing. In the Editing restrictions area, select the Allow only this type of editing in the document check box. In the list of editing restrictions, click No changes (Read only).
Select the paragraph following the unwanted page break. On the Format menu, select Paragraph, and then select the Line and Page Breaks tab. Clear the Keep lines together, Keep with next, and Page break before check boxes.
Select the lines that you want to keep together. On the Format menu, click Paragraph, and then click the Line and Page Breaks tab. Select the Keep lines together check box.
Step 1: Put the cursor before the part of document you will protect, and then click the Breaks Continuous on the Page Layout tab. Then add a continuous break at the end of the part of document with same way. Step 2: Show the Restrict Editing pane with clicking the Restrict Editing button on the Review tab.
View page breaks Select the row that is underneath the row where you want the page to break. Select the column that is to the right of the column where you want the page to break. On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Breaks, and then click Insert Page Break.
To use the Page Break Preview feature, go to the View tab and click on Page Break Preview. This will show you how your data will be divided up into pages based on the current page setup. To protect the page breaks, go back to the View tab and click on Protect Sheet.
Page breaks remain visible when you close and reopen the workbook after saving it. To turn them off, click the File tab, click Options, click the Advanced category, scroll down to the Display options for this worksheet section, and clear the Show page breaks check box.
You cannot delete manual page breaks when Track Changes is turned on. To turn off Track Changes: Go to the Review tab in the Ribbon. Click Track Changes Track Changes in the Tracking group.
