hi and in todays microsoft word tutorial im going to show you how to insert and lock both images and text in your document so ive just got this default document up here and the first thing im going to do is to insert an image so im going to go up to insert picture and im just going to use the stock images from the software so im just going to go over here lets select this image here and click insert now word will insert this document sometimes wherever it chooses i think but where your cursor is so we need to move this first and as you can see we cant do that so right click go down to wrap text and then you can select from a variety of different options here so generally youre going to select either tight or top and bottom and tight means that the text will be wrapped around so lets just select that one to start with and if i just reduce the size of this move it over here you can see how the text will wrap around my image im just going to address the gap around the edge be

1) Select an image, then head to the Picture Format tab. 2) Choose the Selection Pane. 3) A new window will appear on your right, displaying all of your objects on a slide. Select the image and click the lock button on the right to lock its position and size.

Important: The first time you try to move photos and videos to Locked Folder, youll be prompted to set it up. Open the Google Photos app . Go to Library Utilities. Locked Folder . Tap Set up Locked Folder. Follow the on-screen instructions to unlock your device. If your folder is empty, youll find Nothing here yet.
To lock the image, make sure it is selected. It is selected, when the handles around the image are visible. If it is not selected, make sure the Select tool is active on the toolbar above the document, and click the image once to select it. Now, click the Lock icon on the toolbar above the document.
If you want to ensure that an image stays put even if the text around it is deleted, you can lock its anchor: Select the picture. Select the Layout Options icon. Select See more, and then select Lock anchor.
