hi everyone in this short tips and tricks video were gonna have a look at how we can add some validation into an app and more specifically into a text input control and we can add some um red borders so we know when we are in the range or out of range so lets jump right into it [Music] okay so i have an app that ive built which is a reward and recognition app and as a user i can nominate one of my colleagues for helping me or for good work for instance and so when the user is logging into the app um we have the nominations um that weve made and we can see the status we have some [Music] some filters at the top where we can filter by statuses and but what were going to be focusing on is when we go into the nominate screen so this is a very simple layout and we can nominate somebody add the line manager and then we have the reward provider and reward values so those are stored in sharepoint where i have a list which is reward values and i have a couple of shops with some predefined

Turn on or off automatic bullets or numbering Go to File Options Proofing. Select AutoCorrect Options, and then select the AutoFormat As You Type tab. Select or clear Automatic bulleted lists or Automatic numbered lists. Select OK.
Add protection to a form If you want to limit how much others can edit or format a form, use the Restrict Editing command: Open the form that you want to lock or protect. Select Developer Restrict Editing. After selecting restrictions, select Yes, Start Enforcing Protection.
Step 9 To lock your form so that users can only fill out your form, click the Protection tab in the right side toolbar, then select Restrict Editing. Enter the same password in both fields, then click the OK button to save the password.
With the text box selected, choose Text BoxPositionMore Layout Options and check the Lock anchor option. This will keep the text box anchored to the paragraph at the top of the page. If the paragraph at the top of the page moves to another page, the text box will move with it.
Open the form that you want to lock or protect. Select Developer Restrict Editing. After selecting restrictions, select Yes, Start Enforcing Protection.
Locking a Field Select the field you want to lock. Update the field, if desired, by pressing Shift+F9. Press Ctrl+F11.
With the form fields added to the PDF, right click on the Signature field you are wanting to edit and choose Properties. Then from the Signed tab, choose to Mark as read-only and select the fields you want to lock after signing. Finally, Close.
2. Open a Word document that has text boxes. Click the Review tab, then click the Restrict Editing button in the Protect group. Word displays a pane allowing you to manage editing permissions for specific parts of the document, including text boxes.
