In this video, the presenter demonstrates how to extract pages from a multi-page PDF without a paid subscription for docHub pro. They show how to do this using docHub reader, a free version. The presenter selects pages 10, 11, and 12 for extraction, and uses Google Chrome to accomplish this task. By right-clicking on the PDF and selecting open with Google Chrome, they then hover over the toolbar at the top and click on print destination to save the desired pages.

Open the PDF in Acrobat. Choose Organize Pages Split. Choose how you want to split a single file or multiple files. Name and save: Click Output Options to decide where to save, what to name, and how to split your file.
Apply DRM mechanisms Another way to secure PDF files is to use DRM, or digital rights management. DRM is a set of technologies that puts the author in control of what the reader of a documents content can do with it. This helps to prevent the sharing of the information contained within.

Note: If you do not have Google Chrome, you should stop everything and download it right now! Take your PDF file and drag or open it into Chrome. Once your PDF is open in the browser, Press print. Select which pages/page you want to crop from the PDF. In the example, we are taking only the first page.
Open a file in Acrobat and choose Tools Protect. Select whether you want to restrict editing with a password or encrypt the file with a certificate or password. Set password or security method as desired. Click OK and then click Save.
On Windows, just right-click your PDF and select Properties Read-only OK. On a Mac computer, the process is a little more complex. Select the PDF and click File Get Info. You can then set access rights under the Sharing Permissions tab.
How to open PDF in Chrome instead of download Open Google Chrome and type in chrome://settings into the address bar. Go to Privacy and security Site settings. Click on Additional content settings to expand the list and go to PDF documents. Check on the Open PDFs in Chrome radio button.
