To secure confidential PDF files, use PDF Expert to set a password. Simply open the document, tap the file menu, choose set password, and enter a strong password. This will prevent unauthorized access and protect the file from being viewed or used without permission. The password prompt will appear every time the file is opened, ensuring security. This method is reliable and does not require physical guards for protection. Additionally, this secure feature prevents previews of the file in Finder or recent files. For maximum security, consider changing the password periodically or creating a super secure file.
