First, open the PDF. If Preview isnt your default app, right-click the PDF, then select Open With, followed by Preview. From the menu bar at the top, click File, and then click Export. In the window that pops up, next to Export As, type in a name for the file. Then click the drop-down menu next to Quartz Filter and click Reduce File Size. Click Save.

Sign in to a service such as docHub, Apple, or Google to continue to your file. When the thumbnails of the pages appear, drag and drop the thumbnails to reorder in your desired sequence. Click the Save button and then rename the file. Download the PDF or share it via a link or email.
Once you have it, follow these steps: Open Acrobat and open the PDF. Press Command-D to see security options, or click File Document Properties. Type in the password. Choose No Password from the dropdown menu where the password is used. Click OK, then OK again. Save the PDF.
Click Tool PDF Converter to activate the conversion process. Then you can click on To Word to start the conversion. Once you have done this, you can now edit a protected PDF file.
Change or remove a password A document can have only one password, so if you change the password when you share the document, that becomes the documents only password. Remove a password: Choose File Change Password. Type the old password, then click Remove Password.
Then, follow these steps: Open the PDF in Acrobat Pro on Windows or Mac. Choose Tools Encrypt Remove Security. If the document has a Document Open password, click OK to remove it. If the document has a permissions password, type the correct password in the Enter Password box and then click OK.
In the Preview app on your Mac, open a PDF. Choose File Edit Permissions, then do any of the following: Set a password for opening the PDF: Select Require Password To Open Document. Enter a password, then retype it to verify.
In the Preview app on your Mac, open a PDF or image. Move the pointer next to the documents name in the title bar, click the arrow that appears, then select or deselect the Locked tickbox. Tip: To lock or unlock a file in the Finder, select the file, choose File Get Info, then select or deselect the Locked tickbox.
It gets done in simple steps. With Preview, open the PDF file protected with a user password. Enter your open password for the file in the window that opens. Select export as PDF in the file section. Uncheck the encryption feature. Rename the file and save it in the desired location.
