If you're on Mac OS and need to sign a pdf, you can use the built-in Preview app to add your signature. First, find and open the pdf in the app. Click on the show marker toolbar icon and select the signature icon. Create and save your signature using your trackpad, built-in webcam, iPhone, or iPad. If using your trackpad, sign your name using your finger. For Macs with a force touch trackpad, press more firmly for a thicker stroke. Click any key and then done to create a signature using your webcam.
