hey guys so i have a really quick tutorial on how to link and unlink text frames so for example in this text frame i have a question that starts here on the bottom and its going to continue over here now um this isnt linked and one and i continued on with my text boxes but i wanted to continue i want this to say question two three four five um you just click here on the bottom this um you know first youre going to click on your actual text frame so you can see these um these squares youre going to click on this bottom right square here and this extra text is going to come on dont worry all you have to do is click on your text box and now automatically these two text frames are linked and now our questions are continuous again to break this link so they say you decide you know what i want these to be separate because im actually wanting to start with something different here on the top and its gonna you know i just need to break these two boxes no problem are you gonna go is to

How to insert anchors Place your cursor in the text editor where youd like to insert the anchor. You can click a word or place your cursor immediately before it. Click Insert / Remove anchor in the Links section of the Insert ribbon tab. After you assign a name to the anchor, click OK.
Protect a content control In the document that is hosted in the Visual Studio designer, select the content control that you want to protect. In the Properties window, set one or both of the following properties: To prevent users from editing the control, set LockContents to True. Click OK.
With the text box selected, choose Text BoxPositionMore Layout Options and check the Lock anchor option. This will keep the text box anchored to the paragraph at the top of the page. If the paragraph at the top of the page moves to another page, the text box will move with it.
Under both the Horizontal and Vertical selections, select Absolute Position, and pick Page from the drop-down menu at the right. Also, click on the checkbox that says Lock anchor. Now, your pictures wont move around the page.
2. Open a Word document that has text boxes. Click the Review tab, then click the Restrict Editing button in the Protect group. Word displays a pane allowing you to manage editing permissions for specific parts of the document, including text boxes.
Right-click the paragraph that you want to keep together. In the box that opens, select Paragraph. In the Paragraph dialog box, click the Line and Page Breaks tab. In the Pagination section, select the Keep lines together check box, and click OK.
Locking the content Now, go to Properties, this will display the Content Control Options. Under the Locking option, two check boxes are present. The first one is Content Control cannot be deleted and the second one is Contents cannot be edited.
On the Review tab, in the Protect group, click Protect Document, and then click Restrict Formatting and Editing. In the Editing restrictions area, select the Allow only this type of editing in the document check box. In the list of editing restrictions, click No changes (Read only).
With the text box selected, choose Text BoxPositionMore Layout Options and check the Lock anchor option.
On the Review tab, in the Protect group, click Protect Document, and then click Restrict Formatting and Editing. In the Editing restrictions area, select the Allow only this type of editing in the document check box. In the list of editing restrictions, click No changes (Read only).
