Youll need something like stiff but not thick plates e.g. a side of such steel angle. Make a cut in it using any tool and way you like. The size of the cut should be enough to loosely fit a lesser diameter of the segment. Straighten the hose Put connected parts into cuts. To reduce risk of damage to the plastic it makes sense to put the ball end at the last-but-one segment. Align the parts and start to compress the plates at both ends simultaneously. Any type of clamps will fit unless you want to try it with your JAWS :-E Compress evenly and the ball will click. Here we are, the hose behaves and feels as it should.
