PC and Mac In a document that contains endnotes, Choose ViewNormal. Choose View Footnotes. With the pointer, press the arrow to the right of the box that says All Endnotes. Several choices will appear. Highlight the line. Delete the line. Close the Endnote window and Save your work.
To keep the footnote together in Word: Press Ctrl+Shift+S to Apply Styles. Footnote Text. Click Modify. Click Format. Select Paragraph. Under Line and Page Breaks tab. Check box by Keep lines together. Click OK.

Why Are My Footnotes Moving to Another Page in Microsoft Word? If your footnotes keep moving to another page in Word, its because the contents of the footnote are too large for your pages footer. Your page margins might be too small or the font size might be too big.

Click the Paragraph Dialog Launcher. Now click on the Indents and Spacing tab and then set the line spacing to some exact amount of points. A fair guide is 12-14 points for single spacing and 24-28 points to simulate double spacing. That should pull the footnote text onto the one page.
To break up footnotes in Word: Select your footnote. Right-click and press Paragraph. Select the Line and Page Breaks tab. Uncheck the Keep lines together checkbox.
Point to the document, click the arrow that appears, and then click Edit in Microsoft Office program name. For example, click Edit in Microsoft Office Word. In the document, workbook, or presentation, right-click the label, and then click Lock Label on the shortcut menu.
