this week on El Cara ham radio were going to continue the Kentucky roll out of DMR repeaters and the second elkara DMR repeater going in Monticello formerly known as the abandoned repeater site thats whats coming up this week on El Cara ham radio [Music] oh well folks were back at it this time were at the previously known as the abandoned repeater site to install yet another DMR repeater and Thomas N1 DTA brought his 15-foot fiberglass antenna so a little bit different antenna than what we had at the 88 site his uh hard line on a spool and weve got two climbers today weve got our regular standby climber a ki4 rwo and Thomas also climbs a lot so weve got our bases covered and its time to get a DMR presence on the south end of Lake Cumberland one of the things that has really impressed me just watching Thomas go about his day is the attention to detail that hes got when hes installing these cables antennas and whatnot and here were wrapping it with weatherproof tape and then
