heres a quick preview of link sharing in my geo tab where youll soon be able to share the location of an asset without having to grant access to your database geotab has added this option to create a temporary public link that will show the location of a vehicle once its within three kilometers of a specified area to use the feature from the map page click a vehicle and choose the share asset location option confirm that you understand that link sharing exposes your data to third parties and then you can choose the settings for the link the first setting is when youd like the location option to go live if you prefer to make the link available only sometime in the future you can change this up but in my case id like to set it for right now so im going to leave it alone the second option lets you select how long youd like the link to remain live the shortest possible option available today is two hours and thats going to be enough for this run so well leave that as well finally
