For instance, say youve got an inventory here for a used Apple device store and you want to search and just show the Macs or just show the iPhones here. Now you can do that using a filter. If you just want to do this one time you can select the table here, click on Sort and Filter on the right, Filter, Add a Filter. Say I want to filter by item and then say Text, Contains, iPhone. There you go. Youve got it. But that was a lot of steps. Lets say youre constantly wanting to do this. Lets get rid of this filter here and create a really simple interface for doing this. You dont have to know all this sidebar stuff. Lets create a new table. Were just going to create the simplest table type there is with no headers and footers. Im going to reduce it to have one cell. When you set up iCloud for Numbers, your Numbers spreadsheets are stored in the cloud instead of locally on your device. You can see them on any device thats set up for iCloud and Numbers, including your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Open Numbers and go to Recently Deleted. Select the deleted file you want to recover and click on the ellipsis () and select Recover.
In the spreadsheet manager, click Recently Deleted in the sidebar. Move the pointer over a spreadsheet or folder, click the More button on the thumbnail, then choose Recover. The selected item moves back to its former location in the spreadsheet manager (under Browse and Recents).
