Course load refers to the number of registered course credits for a session. For undergraduate students, a 100 per cent course load in the Fall/Winter session is 15 credits in each term.

A normal course load for a student wishing to be full-time is 12 to 17 credit hours.
To find your course load percentage for each term: Divide the number of units youre enrolled in by the 100% course load for one term. Example: enrolled in 9 units, 100% is 15 units: 9/15 = . 6 or 60% course load.
Full-time versus Part-time Full-time undergraduate students are defined as those taking nine credits or more per academic term. Part-time undergraduate students are defined as those taking fewer than nine credits per academic term.
Credit Loads Although full-time students take at least 24 credits per Winter Session, and a standard load is 30 credits per Winter Session, some programs require more.
Your course load refers to the number of courses or credits you are taking. For example, to complete a typical university program in the standard amount of time, a student is required to take 5 courses each term for four years.
Full-time students Full-time status: 60% or more of a full course load (i.e. 9 credits per semester if you are in a program that considers 15 credits per semester as a full time course load.
