so a common question that i get about notifications is how can i make the my list of notifications link to the relevant uh you know action that was taken uh for that notification right so if i get sent a notification that someone commented on my post or sent me something or followed me when i click on that i want to be taken to that comment to that persons profile and while we cant do a whole lot of super deep linking like you would see in most apps in the dollo we can get pretty close so im going to show you a quick tip on how to do that so its important to note that its really helpful to know how data is passed from screen to screen before you start doing this i have a three video series on how you know data is passed and different mistakes that can be made there this has quite a bit to do with that actually um so when we click on a notification um we want to be taken to this persons uh or to a post maybe lets say that weve got you know a post that someone commented on right
