First off, what is Microsoft Lists and what makes it unique? Well, just like the name implies, Microsoft Lists allows you to create lists to organize information. With those lists, you can share it with others and you can collaborate with others on those lists. Now, so far, that sounds like everything that you could do in a spreadsheet with a list. Whats unique about Microsoft Lists? Well, a few things. First off, you can visualize your data in many different ways. Once you get your data into a list, you could view it in a standard grid format, just like in Microsoft Excel. You could also view it in a card for

To help you manage changes, well notify you in special cases, such as when: You or someone you work with created a rule for a list or a library in Microsoft Lists, SharePoint, or Teams, and set it up to notify you when things change. If you have permission, you can edit rules or delete rules.
Create an alert for a list or list item Open the list that you want to create an alert for. On the command bar, click the ellipses (), and then select Alert me to display the Alert me when items change dialog box. In the Alert Title section, change the title for the alert if you want.

With this update, SharePoint users will now be able to create and manage if/then rules to set reminders and send notifications about changes in Microsoft Lists. Once a rule is set up, Microsoft 365 will automatically send these notifications emails to one or more users in an organization.
Choose Chat on the left side of the app. In your chat list, choose a one-on-one chat that includes the person that you want to be notified about. Notify when available. Turn off notifications.
