in this video were going to look at how you can turn urls and website addresses into clickable links so weve got a short list of urls here all from the microsoft website and lets say youve got these urls in here because youre analyzing them and youre looking at the content of them for example and you want to just be able to easily click on them and then theyll open up in your browser and you dont have to do any copying and pasting of the address into the browser bar so all you have to do to do to do this is type out the hyperlink function which is equals hyperlink and then you have the option to specify the link location so thats just going to be where our link is and then you have the option to use a friendly name which well come on to but you dont have to select that so you can just hit enter now and what youll notice is is that this has become a blue link that is clickable so we can click on this and it will open up in our browser whereas these arent clickable now just

Find links used in formulas Press Ctrl+F to launch the Find and Replace dialog. Click Options. In the Find what box, enter . ... In the Within box, click Workbook. In the Look in box, click Formulas. Click Find All. In the list box that is displayed, look in the Formula column for formulas that contain .
Select the cell containing the hyperlink and press Ctrl + K to open the Edit Hyperlink menu. This will open the Edit Hyperlink menu and you can copy and paste the URL from the Address just like before.

Open Excel Workbook ->Go to File->Options->Advanced. Scroll down to find the General tab and click on Web Options. Web Options Window pops-up. On Web Options, pop-up, Click on Files and select the 'Update Links on save' checkbox.
Most likely problems with opening hyperlinks are connected with either the security restrictions of your Internet browser that doesn't allow opening pop-up windows, or with your Flash player plug-in that prevents you from opening URLs in local Flash files.
Click Cell Styles from the Home Tab and select Hyperlink and viola - all the cells change to clickable hyperlinks.
You can also right-click the cell or graphic and then select Edit Hyperlink... on the shortcut menu, or you can press Ctrl+K. In the Edit Hyperlink dialog box, make the changes that you want.
