Add clickable links in TextEdit on Mac In the TextEdit app on your Mac, choose TextEdit Settings, then click New Document. Select Smart links under Options.
Check the URL Address Compare the original URL with the address you added for the hyperlink. To ensure you capture the correct address, highlight and copy the full URL from your Web browsers address bar and then replace the faulty hyperlink with the new link.
RTF stands for Rich Text Format and is a universal document file format and is easily read by many of the word-processing packages. It is particularly useful to those using a different word-processing package from those used on campus.

To create a hyperlink, select your Rich Text module and click the Edit button (1). Next, type in new text or select an existing portion you wish to turn into a hyperlink (2) and click the Hyperlink button (3) from the Text Format toolbar. You will then see a window to enter the link you wish to turn into a hyperlink.
