hello so today Im going to show you a slightly more advanced trick in Google sheets that utilizes the script editor what we are going to do today is extract the link text and the URL separately from a Google sheet cell there are a couple of different ways to approach this but the easiest way to extract the URL without extracting the link text is using a script now if youre not familiar with the script editor in Google sheets dont be intimidated by it using this is actually easier than you might imagine so head up to the menu bar and click on Tools and then choose script editor now weve included some script code with this video that you can use to try the script editor out for this precise function so Im going to copy and paste that code into the script editor and then save my script next up were going to head up here and run the script this will make our new function operational essentially this script has created a new function in sheets that will allow us to extract just the U
