From time to time I get asked about Numbers, how do you put the value from a cell in one table into a cell in another table. Now its very simple once you know the trick but its kind of too simple so sometimes its hard for people to see what the solution is. You know you can do formulas where you say you add two cells together. For instance I have two cells here with the values 3 and 6 in them. In this cell I can start a formula here. Ill do that with the equals key. Then I can click here, hit plus and click there. So B2 plus C2 and the result is 9. But I could have done just one cell. So I could do equals here and just click there, B2, and stop there. Now whats there. Well, its just the value of this cell. If I change this cell to something like 77 this other cell picks it right up. It works the same whether its in the same table or not. So if I go in here and I hit equals, if I just click here to insert the value or the reference for that cell which in this case will be table

There are a couple of important things to know about DOIs. Not every article or resources has a DOI. DOIs are not related to the peer-review status of an article. Both peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed articles can have DOIs.
In mathematics, the linking number is a numerical invariant that describes the linking of two closed curves in three-dimensional space. Intuitively, the linking number represents the number of times that each curve winds around the other.
Check the first page or first several pages of the document, near the copyright notice. The DOI can also be found on the database landing page for the source. If you still cant find the DOI, you can look it up on the website CrossRef.org (use the Search Metadata option).
A DOI, or Digital Object Identifier, is a string of numbers, letters and symbols used to permanently identify an article or document and link to it on the web. A DOI will help your reader easily locate a document from your citation.
Answer In most scholarly journal articles, the DOI will be printed with the article itself, usually on the first page somewhere: below the title or in the header or footer. If the DOI isnt included in the article, look it up on the website CrossRef.org (use the Search Metadata option) to check for an assigned DOI.
A DOI is a permanent ID that, when appended to in the address bar of an Internet browser, will lead to the source. For example, will take you directly to the information page for the article An Analysis of the Pricing of Traits in the U.S. Corn Seed Market.
The linking number (L) is determined by the formula: L = W + T. For a relaxed molecule, W = 0, and L = T. The linking number of a closed DNA molecule cannot be changed except by breaking and rejoining of strands.
Some articles may not have a DOI. For example, articles published outside of the sciences tend not to have DOIs. An article may also not have a DOI if it was published before DOIs existed (though some older articles will have had DOIs added!).
